Privacy policy

A working draft for Phase 1. It will be reviewed by counsel and updated before RideTesla accepts live registrations.

Information we collect

We collect only what a registration form asks for: your name and contact details, your city, state, and ZIP code, and role-specific details such as vehicle information for owners, or business and service details for businesses and providers. We also collect basic, non-identifying usage information about how pages are used.

How we use it

  • To send the launch and membership updates you asked for.
  • To prepare directory and marketplace listings you submit.
  • To decide which regions and features to open next.
  • To respond to messages you send us.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with vehicle manufacturers as a condition of registration, and we do not use it to enroll you in any third-party program.

Communications

Email and SMS updates are opt-in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can stop SMS updates by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

Service providers

We use third-party services for email delivery, hosting, and analytics. They may process your information only on our instructions and only to provide those services.

Retention

We keep registration information for as long as your registration is active, and delete or anonymize it after you ask us to remove it.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time through the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law.

Children

RideTesla is not intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll note the change on this page and, where appropriate, email registered members.
